Dr Sarah Kingston graduated from UCC medical school in 2009. She completed her vocational training for General Practice on the Cork Vocational Training Scheme in 2014 and obtained her membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners.
During her training she completed diplomas in both child health and obstetrics and gynaecology. She has a particular interest in women’s health, encompassing family planning, contraception, antenatal care, the menopause and is a registered LARC (mirena, copper coil) fitter.
She has completed a diploma in diabetes care and runs monthly diabetic clinics in the practice. She has also completed further training in managing dementia in primary care with UCC.
Dr Kingston has a great interest in medical education and is a tutor for undergraduate medical students in UCC. She also facilitates undergraduate teaching from January to March in the practice.
Dr Sadhbh Ni Lionaird
Nurse Denise Goulding
Nurse Denise joined the practice in March 2018. She achieved a Bachelors Degree in Nursing in 2007. She has extensive experience in hospital and community based medicine, having worked in Bantry General Hospital for 8 years and subsequently in Carechoice Macroom for 4 years. During this time she developed a great interest and expertise in geriatric care.
Denise is a qualified cervical smear taker and administers all the childhood vaccinations. She plays an integral role in the running of our various health initiatives every year.
She has a special interest in diabetes care and is expert in the management of this chronic disease in the practice. She plays an active role in promoting good health and wellbeing of all the patients.
Administrative Staff
Our administrative team comprises of 2 members of staff. They are highly trained and ensure the smooth running of the practice. Patients can be assured that we always endeavour to deal with any issues or queries comprehensively and efficiently. All information accessible by practice staff will be treated in the strictest confidence.
Secretary Donna Walker
Scottish born Donna has lived in Cork for the past 16 years and holds a Diploma in Information Technology. She has trained as a medical secretary in Cork College of Commerce. She has excellent administrative and management skills. By and large for patients and the practice team alike, ‘ask Donna’ is the common refrain for all queries great and small.
Secretary Nora O Sullivan
Nora joined the practice in July 2021. She is a very conscientious, dedicated and valued member of staff. She diligently deals with all administrative tasks and has excellent interpersonal skills.
